Dr. Tomkna N. Williams

Dr. Tomicka N. Williams earned a PhD in public policy and homeland security from Walden University, a MPA degree from Nova Southeastern University, and a BS in political science/public administration from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU). She is currently an Assistant Academic Department Chair at Purdue University Global and is an experienced professional in bridging the gap between security awareness, training, research, and human resource. Her research interest includes: Homeland Security, Emergency Management, and Crisis Communication Systems. Dr. Williams’ specialties include employee training and support; creating training manuals to include security awareness; and developing PowerPoint presentations that enhance the understanding of workplace policies and programs.
